Parachute Home is most known for their sheets but they also offer a few different kinds of  towels. We recently purchased a set of their Classic Towels to see how they compare to other brands and if they are worth the price. Are you going to need to upgrade your towels? Find out below as we break down everything for you.

Parachute’s Classic Towels are made out of 100% long-staple Turkish cotton at 700 grams per square meter. For most people, grams per square meter really don’t make that much sense but most towels are around 500 GSM. Parachute states that they use Aerocotton Technology to help create exceptionally absorbent, quick-drying towels. You can get washcloths, hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets in four different colors which include white, buff, mineral, and stone. The prices start around $9 for a washcloth and go high as $49 for a bath sheet. Lastly, the entire line is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified which means that there aren’t any harmful chemicals in the products.

Buying the towels are pretty simple and painless on their website. We added the towels to our cart and quickly checked out with free shipping in just a few minutes. The package only took about 2 days to get to us. When we received the package, we were impressed that our towels came in a nice Parachute tote bag and everything was nicely placed in the box. We immediately noticed how soft and plush these towels felt but we all know that some towels seem nice until you use/wash them a few times.

When we washed the towels for the first time, we noticed as expected these towels will produce a lot of lint. We pulled the towels out of the dryer and we were pleasantly surprised that the towels still felt as great as before. The real test came the next week when we put the towels through the daily use tests. After getting out of the shower, we noticed that these towels are super absorbent as advertised and there was no lint that came off when we dried off our skin. The towels are pretty quick to dry and didn’t notice any snags in the towels. We did these tests for the next few days with the same results minus a few snags in the towels. You will probably realize by the first few days that these towels are super soft and it will make you want to stay in your towel for a longer period of time.

Overall, the Parachute Classic Towel has surpassed our greatest expectations. These towels are extremely soft, plush, and super absorbent that make you feel like you’re in a spa. We highly recommend you look into purchasing towels from Parachute if you’re one of the people that cannot find decent towels at the big box retailers.

  1. The main differences with the two towels are basically Brooklinen is more plush (820+ GSM) but Parachute towels dry faster (700 GSM). As for which one would I get, I have been debating which route to go personally for a few weeks now. You’ll get more towels for less money with Parachute but Brooklinen has a lifetime warranty on theirs.
